Black Road Home are a four piece rock band from Stoke on Trent, Leaning towards the heavier end of the rock scale they take influence from such bands as Alterbridge, Blackstone Cherry, Metallica & Tool to name but a few,( Steve Milligan - Vox, Ian " Lockstar" Locker ( ex-totally obscene- Guitar) Woody- Drums, & finally new boy Tabbie on Bass) They decided to buck the trend of hard rock/Metal bands by writing music without the repetitive durge riffs and shouting vocals cus thats what everyones doing right now! same old, same old, The music still has serious heavy weight balls to it with awesomely powerful vocals that stand out from the generic standard, music doesn't have to be fast to be heavy!!!, Check our tracks at http://www.myspace.com/blackroadhome.

And for the night of the dog only we've been working on some killer covers to put on a killer show of some of the best rock/metal bands of all time to show where Black Road Homes pedigree comes from.

Latest Band added to line up

In May 2004, Long Time Dead released their first album titled 'Universal Cry For Help" on the Psychophonic Records label which in turn was distributed all over Europe via HMV, Virgin, Amazon, MVC, and many other major and independent record stores .
The record was received with huge acclamation in the UK national press including Metal Hammer, Rocksound, Terrorizer and countless online rock and metal journalists over Europe.

The success of the debut album attracted Scuzz TV to release the single "Half Cocked Smile" as LTD's first national video release. The video was aired for well over 6 months and led to LTD adding tours across the UK and Europe allowing the band to spread their awsome and incredibly powerful Heavy Metal to an audience that have been wondering where old school boot in the face metal went!

LTD are driven to write their style of metal for the 12 years the band have been established mainly due to the fact that every rock / metal trend that has been and gone, is just plain rubbish and metalheads everywhere need to be reminded of the roots of proper British Heavy Metal!!

LTD have just recently finished recording their latest E.P which is set for release very very soon. This E.P is set to be a taster of what the band has to offer for their 2nd album which is set to be recorded in summer 2010.
